Life on the road is always an adventure, but one thing that remains a constant is food. Subway might as well be a sponsor on the Get Out More Tour 2015. We eat there easily four or five times a week and pretty much before every show. The fact is that it is hard to find a more reliable, cheaper, widely dispersed, convenient, quick food option. And Subway is damn good too! We’re only a month and a half into the tour and I know we will eventually get tired of eating the same thing. That is if it is physically possible to get tired of sandwiches, but thankfully not yet! |
Post 12 If Becky and I were on tour in California right now, the drought would be over! Bad weather follows us. Their water worries would be a thing of the past! But we’re not in the West, we’re in the rainy East. OK, I’m exaggerating a little. It doesn’t rain all the time over here, it only rains when we camp. We have had the worst streak lately where we will camp a night or two in the rain then get fed up and drive to a hotel. Comfortably in a hotel, the clouds will part and the rain stops or never materializes. Without fail, the forecast will call for a stormy wet night, so we’ll head for the shelter of a hotel… Clear sky. The next night we will return to the tent just to be rained on again. It’s a cruel joke that I don’t get or appreciate.
