Mr & Mrs Unruh
It was about time … wasn't it
On a hill overlooking the Priest River of North Idaho, a small group gathered. It was a quaint outdoor wedding with an intimate ceremony attended by only immediate family and friends. Reverend Bernie McBurnski (my brother, don't ask) stood on a large stump and blessed our union. "By the powers vested in me by the great gem state of Idaho, I now pronounce you husband and wife." Having been together for over six years now, we had always envisioned the two of us saying I Do atop a towering mountain peak with only us and nature present. I'm glad we didn't go that route. Seeing the joy on the faces of my parents, siblings, friends and nieces was priceless. It was a great day!
