Back in April, two weeks into the summer tour, our itinerary took us through Arkansas. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that I’d spend so much time in Arkansas. Living in the Northwest a full 2,000 miles away, there was never a compelling reason to pass through Arkansas let alone seek it out as a destination to visit. That is until my older sister and her family found themselves living there after a job transfer. So back then at the start of the tour seven months ago, we stopped through Little Rock for a little family time with my sister, her husband and their two exuberant daughters. Its only fitting that today nearing the end of our summer adventure we have the opportunity to again stop through and spend time with our family. Our travels have come full circle. And for the record, Arkansas is growing on me.
Binge drifting is a way of life for us. Since we met in 2008, we have worked seasonally in 10 different states, driven across this amazing country of ours countless times, hiked from Mexico to Canada, bicycled from coast to coast, and traveled the world. We hope you enjoy these tales of our journey chasing adventure!
